The Purpose-Filled Kitchen: Confidence in Your Kitchen – Chef Level 1
A 12‑week, small‑group cooking experience in my Austin area home kitchen that gives you real chef foundations, faith‑filled encouragement, and calm confidence at the stove.
What You’ll Learn Over 12 Weeks
- Weeks 1–4: Solid Foundations
Knife skills, kitchen confidence, vegetables that actually taste good, eggs and “anytime” meals, and chicken and protein techniques—so you stop guessing and start moving like you know what you’re doing. - Weeks 5–8: Flavor, Ease & Weeknight Wins
Stocks and soups, sauces and pasta night, sheet‑pan roasting, and fish and seafood without fear—so you can create big flavor with simple, repeatable systems on busy nights. - Weeks 9–11: Menus, Global Flavors & Hosting
Global flavor profiles, baking basics, timing, plating, and hosting a real meal—so you can confidently invite people over and actually enjoy being at the table with them. - Week 12: Chef’s‑Table Graduation Dinner
You’ll cook and serve a multi‑course menu in teams, bringing together everything you’ve learned. It’s a celebration of how far you’ve come—from nervous about your knife to proudly serving a beautiful meal.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need any cooking experience to join?
No. You don’t need to be “good at cooking” to be here. This experience is designed for women who want to feel more confident and skilled in the kitchen, whether you’re starting from basics or filling in gaps you never learned. - How many women are in each group?
Groups are intentionally small, so you get personal attention, plenty of space at the prep tables, and a real sense of community. You’re not lost in a crowd—you’re seen and supported. - Is this faith‑based?
Yes, but gently. I bring my faith into the kitchen in a natural, respectful way through short reflections and conversations. You don’t need to have it all “figured out” spiritually to feel at home here. - What if I have dietary preferences or restrictions?
You’ll be able to tell me about any major allergies or restrictions after you apply. When possible, I’ll offer simple swaps or alternatives so you can still participate and learn the techniques. - What happens if I have to miss a session?
Life happens. If you need to miss a week, you’ll still receive the recipes and key notes so you can practice at home. When possible, I’ll help you catch the main skills in a future class or through a quick recap.
